Starburst is full Peruvian and a multi-blue ribbon winner in both halter and fleece competitions. At the New England Coastal Classic Julio Sumar singled her out early for her classic look and fleece characteristics. Her sire, “I-Star”, is the full-blooded Accoyo son of Peruvian Snowmaster and his genetics for exceptional density, crimp, and fineness are reflected in her fleece.
Starburst is an exceptional mom and we really appreciate the independence she gives her offspring, all while still under her watchful eye. Starburst consistently delivers quality offspring, starting with Warrick in July 2005, a beautiful white male out of Snowmass Prodigy, then owned by the North American Alpaca Stud, and then Golden Sovereign’s Gigi in September 2006 (see Gigi’s listing). In 2007 Starburst gave us another outstanding Golden Sovereign offspring, Max who is a blue ribbon winner and Reserve Color Champ! In 2008 Starburst gave birth to Veralee, a stunning female cria out of Lancaster with a playful disposition and in 2010 to Essie, a beautiful Archangel daughter.
